TYLER, TX - Conservatives in East Texas are gathering together to hear from a variety of candidates seeking to serve in public office Friday, January 27th at Jalapeno Tree banquet room in Tyler, TX.

Confirmed Candidates:
Mr. David Simpson for Texas State Representative district 7
Ms. Tammy Blair for Texas Senate district 3
Mr. Glenn Addison for US Senate (Texas)

Candidates will be given time to speak and the attendees the opportunity to ask questions.  Additionally, candidates will be available for media interviews from 4:30-5:00 p.m. prior to the public event.

East Texans will be given the opportunity to hear about current hot topics such as TSA in Texas, State Sovereignty, SOPA/PIPA, NDAA, Obamacare and the U.S. Constitution.  Following a meeting of Tylerites for Ron Paul on Monday January 23rd, which packed the room drawing over 100 people at the Jalapeno Tree, organizer Stephen Lee said "This will be a great opportunity for our group and others to find out more about the candidates and where they stand on the issues facing Texans".  This event is free and open to the public.  Food and refreshments can be purchased at the event.
